Rowan Vickers is a Bermudian actor & theatre director; currently playing John Carpenter in the 1st Broadway National Tour of TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL.

Rowan is a graduate of The Juilliard School (Group 44), and has also completed Shakespeare courses at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (TROILUS AND CRESSIDA, 2010), and Rose Bruford College (TWELFTH NIGHT, 2009). While at Juilliard, Rowan was a part of film projects with student led initiative G44, he also produced and featured in a studio production of Kenneth Lonergan’s THIS IS OUR YOUTH, and was the recipient of the Cecille Weber and Rodgers Memorial Scholarships.

Rowan has been part of productions and developing plays with Second Stage (Broadway), New York Theatre Workshop, The New Group, Roundabout, Atlantic Theater Company, Transport Group, The Playwright's Realm, Primary Stages, The California Shakespeare Theatre, The Stratford Festival (Canada), Paper Mill Playhouse, Studio Theatre (D.C.), The PIT, Alliance Theatre, and Santa Cruz Shakespeare.

Notable productions include understudying Chris Evans & Michael Cera in the Broadway revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s LOBBY HERO (Second Stage/directed by Trip Cullman); The Off-Broadway revivals of William Inge’s PICNIC and COME BACK, LITTLE SHEBA (Transport Group/directed by Jack Cummings III/Best Revival Obie Award, Best Revival Drama Desk Nomination for PICNIC); The World Premiere of Nathan Alan Davis’ NAT TURNER IN JERUSALEM (New York Theatre Workshop/directed by Megan Sandberg-Zakian); The New York Premiere of Justin Kuritzke’s THE SENSUALITY PARTY (The New Group/directed by Danya Taymor); BAD JEWS (Studio Theatre, DC/directed by Serge Seiden/Best Featured Actor in a Play DC Theater Arts Award) & MEASURE FOR MEASURE (California Shakespeare Theatre/directed by Tyne Rafaeli).

Rowan’s TV/Film projects include SILO (Apple TV+); INSTINCT (CBS); LAW AND ORDER: SVU (NBC); MAYDAY (Discovery); 18 ACTORS (G44/Juilliard); THREE DATES (G44/Juilliard); LABOR, LIES AND MURDER (Lifetime).

Select work at Juilliard include originating the role of Timothy in Max Posner’s JUDY, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll; Lynn Nottage’s BY THE WAY, MEET VERA STARK, directed by Lucie Tiberghien; Jesse J. Perez’s concept production of THE CHUCK MEE PROJECT, directed by Jesse J. Perez; Shakespeare’s RICHARD III, directed by Harris Yulin; and Mary Zimmerman’s METAMORPHOSES, directed by Moni Yakim.

In 2019, Rowan formed Venture Theatre - a project based in his home country of Bermuda. Venture’s mission is to bring international theatre artists together in an effort to stage classic and contemporary plays for a Bermudian audience. Rowan directed the company’s inaugural production of Tennessee Williams’ THE GLASS MENAGERIE. The production was featured in the 45th Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts.
