REVIEWS

“Rowan Vickers is particularly impressive. Every word and gesture, every emotional twist and turn, rings clear and true.”

“He mines the play’s inherent comic elements while never compromising meaning or losing focus and through-line, and makes it all look easy.”

- San Fransisco Examiner, Measure For Measure (California Shakespeare Theatre)

“Rowan Vickers, who plays both Gray and the guard, carefully distinguishes the characters’ antebellum white privilege: Gray’s is insouciant and almost blasé; the guard’s unsettled and almost violent.”

- Vulture, Nat Turner In Jerusalem (NYTW)

“Vickers nicely captures the apparently low-key nerdiness of Jonah.”

- Washington Post, Bad Jews (Studio Theatre, DC)

“Alan is played with hot-tempered jealousy by Rowan Vickers.”

- TheaterMania, Picnic (Transport Group)

“Funny as all heck.”

- BroadwayWorld, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical (1st Nat’l Tour)

“[…] he has all the skills of a director as well as those of an actor.”

“Intimate, engaging, and immersive.”

“Brilliant for so many reasons.”

- Royal Gazette, The Glass Menagerie (The Venture Project, Bermuda Festival)
